Measure around the waistline (just above the navel), making sure the tape measure does not slip. Do not hold your breath in to achieve a flatter stomach - this will give the wrong measurement. Measure around your hips at the widest point, again making sure the tape measure does not slip.

Measure the waist as for the skirt. Measure the hips in the same way as the skirt but letting the tape rest more loosely. Trouser measurements must be taken in different ways: - for dress trousers, put the end of the tape to the waist and measure vertically down to the ankle, - for casual and sports trousers put the end of the tape 2cm below the waist and measure down to the ankle. This will give you an idea of trouser lengths.

There is dual sizing for jeans:

The sizes marked with an asterisk* are those which normally correspond to the cm stated. The other is always somewhat smaller. In general, jeans are meant to be worn tight-fitting and after a few days' wear they will give slightly and mould to the body. When washed they will return to their original size.

- The cm measurements specified in the charts always refer to body measurements and not garment measurements. If one of your measurements corresponds to one size and another to a larger size, we recommend that you choose the larger size garment, as it can be altered if necessary. For example, if you have a hip measurement of 98cm and a waist of 68cm, it is better to choose size 40 rather than size 38, since the waist can be taken in. However, if you buy size 38, the waist may fit well but the hips will be too tight and this cannot be altered, given that the extra cm of fabric cannot be added.

- The specifications can change in different garments, according to their design.

- It is important not to take your measurements after eating, nor should you hold your breath or clench muscles. Your body should be relaxed and above all, the measuring tape should be horizontal when measuring around the body.

- We also recommend that you wash any garment before adjusting it, or at the least, leave some cm shrinkage allowance.
